Environmental Management – Efficiency in the sense of environment

When aqua-terra® Bioprodukt GmbH in 1984 started to take back and recycle packings and material needed for safe transport (in 1996 PE-packings were replaced by PP-packings), it started its pioneering role that in the following years was upgraded to a quality and environment management system with regard to economical aspects aligning our company’s economic well-being with environment.

Differentiation by certification and reference lists

The production plant of aqua-terra Bioprodukt GmbH disposes of an environment management system. Public is informed of our plant’s operational environmental protection in accordance with the common system for environmental management and company promotion (EU-system for environmental and industrial management). “Customer-orientation and confidence must be seen as a fund that should not be disregarded.” In order to come up to the confidence shown by the customers, the management’s policy is to create a lucent mode of operation. Thus, even after a short introductional phase, the management of aqua-terra Bioprodukt GmbH disregarded running its own laboratory and decided on publishing reference lists in order to give prospective customers an insight into our company’s proceedings and results. “An open and serious position towards customers in every respect is the best precondition against misunderstandings in business” – so pronounces the management after about 15 years of experience in the fields of biological producing processes and environmental management.
The company’s sane economic situation as well as several governmental certificates awarded since foundation show that aqua-terra Bioprodukt GmbH chose the right way when deciding on this business management.
With special pride our company presents the emblem “Blauer Engel” awarded in November 1998 and February 2006 by Bundesumweltamt / Berlin (German Ministry for Environment).

The elements of our quality and environmental management system fulfil the requirements of national and international regulations and are based on premises of DIN EN ISO 9001 and EN 29001 as well as EG-Öko-Auditverordnung 1836/93 (EU economical audit regulations) respectively ISO / DIS 14001, considering the preconditions of aqua-terra Bioprodukt GmbH. Mentioned regulations are obligatory for all departments of the company. Those regulations that refer to norms respectively administrative orders are described in the documentation of quality and environmental management. As basic element of this system, aqua-terra Bioprodukt GmbH implies that all employees – due to their qualification - are in a position to execute their work on their own.
The quality and environmental management system ensures – when adhered to orderly and consequently – that all business actions of aqua-terra Bioprodukt GmbH – especially production, service and examination – come up to the required aspects of ensuring quality, serving environment and industrial safety. Doing so, the management binds itself to value the efficiency of this system constantly, either based on reviews or carried out by a representative of the according association (as described in the leaflet of aqua-terra Bioprodukt GmbH for quality and environmental management).

Protection of trademarks of aqua-terra® Bioprodukt GmbH

In order to prevent from arrogating production or use of aqua-terra products, all compounds are protected with trademarks immediately after final tests. This is to protect aqua-terra Bioprodukt GmbH itself as well as to save customers from deception on the part of third.
With regard to advancing globalization and opening of the European borders, aqua-terra Bioprodukt GmbH also has decided on protecting existing trademarks throughout Europe by registering them at the Ministry for Harmonisation at Alicante / Spain.
